Students thoughts about the project (Vyronia Junior High School - GREECE)

This year we took part in an eTwinning project titled "Let's fight for a better world" in which each month we were involved in different themes and activities, such as women's rights, the environment, tolerance of violence, bullying, etc.
It was one of the most beautiful school activities we have participated in because not only did we come in communication, through the internet, with other schools in Greece and abroad, but we also discussed and learned about issues that have been of concern to the whole world for many years.
This was done in various ways, such as online meetings where we presented our work and talked about the topic in question.
I am really sad that "Let's fight for a better world!" has unfortunately come to an end and I hope that next year we will have the opportunity to experience something similar again.

4th online meeting with students (Vyronia Junior High School - GREECE)

On Tuesday 21 May, the 4th and last online meeting of the students of the etwinning project "Let's fight for a better world!"
The meeting was attended by schools from Romania, Turkey, Croatia, Spain and Greece.
First of all, the topic that we dealt with in May ("Cultural Identity and Divercity") was presented where our students George N. and Theodora A. read the myths of Prometheus and the Rapture of Persephone  explaining their connection with human rights and the need for man to respect the environment (climate change) respectively.
The meeting ended with a review of the project and its activities.
In the etwinning project "Let's fight for a better world!" we addressed the major challenges of the modern world (poverty, hunger, inequality and climate change) and tried to raise awareness about the importance of acting in time and the belief that every action and effort matters.

We bid you farewell dear friends and hope to work together again in the future in beautiful and creative projects.
