4th online meeting with students (Vyronia Junior High School - GREECE)

On Tuesday 21 May, the 4th and last online meeting of the students of the etwinning project "Let's fight for a better world!"
The meeting was attended by schools from Romania, Turkey, Croatia, Spain and Greece.
First of all, the topic that we dealt with in May ("Cultural Identity and Divercity") was presented where our students George N. and Theodora A. read the myths of Prometheus and the Rapture of Persephone  explaining their connection with human rights and the need for man to respect the environment (climate change) respectively.
The meeting ended with a review of the project and its activities.
In the etwinning project "Let's fight for a better world!" we addressed the major challenges of the modern world (poverty, hunger, inequality and climate change) and tried to raise awareness about the importance of acting in time and the belief that every action and effort matters.

We bid you farewell dear friends and hope to work together again in the future in beautiful and creative projects.

Our Declaration for Climate Change (Vyronia Junior High School)

Working on Climate Change (Vyronia Junior High School)

In April, the topic we dealt with was climate change. Activities related to climate change were carried out in order to increase awareness and understanding of climate change among students through collaborative activities.

Initially, the topic was presented in class where students, under the guidance of Ms. Bouziani, discussed issues related to the impact of climate change on the environment and by extension on our lives. Then, in the computer lab, they answered the question: "Can using less electricity at home help reduce our carbon footprint and slow down climate change?" and then split into three groups and were asked to give their own ideas on how to create a declaration on the environment:

Climate change (presentation and working on our common pledge) A'Arsakeio - Tositseio Junior high school Ekalis - GREECE

During April, we were concerned about the very important issue of climate change. The students were shown a presentation about the causes, parameters and effects of climate change on the planet Earth and our lives. They were then driven to create their pledge including their suggestions about combating this phenomenon with simple but very effective everyday actions.
