| Greece and Turkey team work |
The partners work collaboratively (in groups of 2) with the aim of creating a book on human rights - the theme of the project for the month of December - in which each group should cover two pages.
Vyronia Junior High School collaborates with BALÇOVA 80. YIL ORHANGAZİ ORTAOKULU-TURKEY on "the right to education"
Our initial plan is to make a poster with 6 slogans related to our topic (3 per group)
At school, students talked about human rights and especially children's rights in the classroom and in the Literature lesson. They then focused on the right to education. Answered questions such as: "What does school offer us?", "Why should I go to school?" etc and then suggested their own slogans and voted for the ones they thought were the best (When the road to school is a big adventure. Incredible photos with children from all over the world…)
After that, the teams collaboratively wrote and illustrated (using PIXTON) a story about a child who wants to go to school but can't (including a 6-panel comic). The story was created step by step (like a chain) using the web 2.0 tool PIXTON where we formed our common digital class.
