My Shero (A' Arsakeio Tositseio Junior High school Ekalis - GREECE)
This is our poster made by all the students and representing their Shero - woman role model. It shows the characteristics such a woman possesses. We also explored the life of women who our students consider to be role models and created posters about them.

4th Students Online Meeting (GREECE) - March 2024
From the students of the 9th grade Maria Kon. and Maria K.
Today we participated together with all the children of our class and the 8th grade in an online meeting with students, in the project eTwinning "Let's fight for a better world!". The meeting was attended by schools from Romania, Croatia, Croatia, Turkey, Moldova and Greece. It was an exciting and unique experience - for all of us in the third grade.
At first we all gathered together in one classroom and the schools started to "enter" the digital room one by one. We noticed with great curiosity the children from the other schools, the teachers, their classes.
At 11:00 the meeting started and the founder of the project Ms. Lacramiora Fira greeted us in English (a chance to practice it already) and explained what was to come. The Romanian school showed us a wonderful presentation on women's rights, where we were concerned that in many countries women are still struggling to gain basic human freedoms. Their rights are not respected.
Then students from different schools took the floor and expressed their views on the position of women in our times, mentioning the assets and obstacles they face.
The question followed: "Do you think that women's rights are fully respected in your country?" where we were asked to answer - we students - using our mobile phones (I really liked that!)
At the end we were asked to describe what we think a "female heroine" (a She + HERO i.e. SHERO) should be like and to write down our thoughts about our mother.
It was a great experience because we got to hear the views of children from other countries and I would love to do it again!

Poster about cyberbullying in English and Greek (A' Arsakeio - Tositseio Junior high school Ekalis - GREECE)
In February we worked on the topic of bullying and cyberbullying. After discussing ways of avoiding being victims of cyberbullying, the students created their own poster in English and in Greek, which was then hung on the walls of our school!

February 2024: Bullying and Cyberbullying (Greece)
Bullying is an aggressive and repetitive behaviour in which a person or group of people deliberately causes distress and discomfort to another person who is perceived to be weaker or vulnerable.
- Bullying is intentional - it harms another person deliberately
- Bullying involves abuse of power in a relationship
- Bullying is usually not isolated - it is repeated or has the potential to be repeated over time
- Bullying involves behaviour that can cause harm
"Be polite and careful. Remember that your posts are public."
This was followed by a short story "Gone to far" where the children, divided into groups, were asked to "put themselves in each other's shoes" and describe the feelings and thoughts of the heroes of the story (perpetrator, victim, observers).
